Top Six Questions

When and where are games?

Games are scheduled at The Dome and AT&T Sports Pavilion, both of which are located in south Anchorage. Men's and Women's teams play on weeknights, with games starting as early as 6pm and starting as late at 10pm. Coed games are played on Saturdays and Sundays, with games starting as early as 8am and starting as late as 10pm. Schedule requests must also be received by this deadline all reasonable schedule requests will be considered but may not be honored. An schedule requirements must be approved before registering.

What does it take to form a team?

Anyone may form a team, the only requirement is that the team fee is submitted online (or dropped off) by the entry deadline. The team manager is responsible for collecting the team fee and submitting it via credit card or a packet of checks. We are unable to accept team payments that are not in full.

How are teams put into divisions?

Each team selects a division upon registering. Before schedules are made, large divisions will be divided into conferences based on estimated team ability. There is no pre-notification of managers when this happens, as all conferences are still within the same division. If you want to have a say in what conference your team is placed, fill out this survey! Some teams may be moved to another division based on past history (managers will be notified if this happens).

Can an individual register?

Although individuals must register with the league, we require that they connect with a team first. We provide an online bulletin board to assist players in connecting with teams.

I'm a new team manager--where do I find out more about how the league operates?

Our policies page provides detailed information about day-to-day league operations. Please read it completely! Managers will receive emails with more information upon registering as well as in the weeks before the season begins.

How do I get my other questions answered?

Feel free to email Nick at info@socceralaska.com with any questions not answered on the website. He will get back to you as soon as he can, usually within 48 hours.
