Field Locations

This map lists all fields that Soccer Alaska uses (and has used in the recent past). The map can be manipulated on this page or viewed in Google Maps. Text directions to all fields are also available below the map.

Abbott Loop - This is a new field located on the east side of Elmore Road between 80th and 84th Avenues (near Abbott Road). To get to Elmore, go east on Abbott or take Elmore Road south from Tudor. The field is directly across from Coventry Dr. and shares a parking lot with Simonian Little League fields. This portion of Elmore Road was formerly known as Abbott Loop.

AFS - On 16th Avenue between C Street and Gambell. Part of the Chester Creek Sports Complex and across the parking lot from Sullivan Arena and Ben Boeke Ice Arena.

Anchorage Gardens - On Brayton Drive (East-side New Seward Frontage Road) between O'Malley and Dimond. Take New Seward to O'Malley, then continue north on the Frontage Road. The Gardens complex, primarily used by Cook Inlet Soccer Club, is just past Academy Drive on the right.

AT&T Pavilion (formerly Cell One) - 11051 O'Malley Centre Drive. This indoor venue is located between New and Old Seward Highways on the south side of O'Malley Drive. Approaching from the north, exit New Seward at O'Malley. Go west (right) on O'Malley and take the first left after the highway, O'Malley Centre Drive, which is at Wee Bee's (a burger restaurant). Continue past The Alaska Club. Cell One is the first (northern) of two large white buildings. Approaching from Minnesota Drive, turn right at O'Malley Centre Drive (at Wee Bee's).

Begich Middle School - 7440 Creekside Center Drive. The school is on the southwest corner of Debarr Road and Muldoon Road. The school entrance is from Debarr Road. The field is on the west side of the school.

Balto Seppala - Wisconsin St. & 34th Avenue. To get to Wisconsin, take Northern Lights westbound past Minnesota Drive and through a few stoplights. At Wisconsin St, turn left. Go about half a mile and the parking lot for the fields is on the right, opposite 34th Avenue. The parking lot is quite small and the fields cannot be seen from the road. The fields can also be accessed from Milky Way Drive. Milky Way is the first stoplight to the south of the fields (also 35th Avenue). Turn right at the stoplight and follow the street until the park is visible on the right.

Centennial -  From downtown or Eagle River: Take the Glenn Highway to Muldoon Exit. Go South on Muldoon. At the first stoplight, Boundary Ave, turn left (east). Take the first left which is the Frontage Road. Parking lot will be on the right. From east or south Anchorage via Muldoon: Take Muldoon to the last stoplight before the Glenn. Turn right at this stoplight (Boundary Ave.) Take the first left on the Frontage Rd. and the parking lot will be on the right.

Chugiak High School - 16525 Birchwood Loop Rd, Chugiak. Take the Glenn Highway north out of Anchorage, past Eagle River to the Birchwood Loop exit. After exiting turn left. The school will be on your right after crossing underneath the highway. The field is behind the school.

Clark Middle School - 150 Bragaw Street. Take the Glenn to the Bragaw exit, proceed north, and the entrance to the school will be on the left.

De La Vega Park - Taft Street, near Minnesota Dr & International Airport Rd. From the intersection of Minnesota Dr. and International Airport Rd, go west (towards the airport). The first opportunity to make a left turn west of Minnesota will be Northwood (next to Diamond Airport Parking. Make the left turn and another immediate left (on the frontage of Int'l Airport Rd) on Taft Street. Continue on Taft as it curves at a self storage facility. After the road curves to the left, the entrance to the park is on the right. There are four soccer fields and four softball fields, and parking is limited. Arrive early!

Dimond High School - 2909 West 88th Avenue. Take Minnesota Drive to Dimond Boulevard. Exit at Dimond going west. At the second stoplight, Arlene Street, take a right (north). Continue on Arlene through the four-way stop at 88th Avenue. The field is next to the pool with parking available in the large lot on the west side of Arlene.
 
The Dome - 6501 Changepoint Drive. Take Minnesota to the Raspberry Road exit (between International Dr. and Dimond Blvd.). Go east on Raspberry (towards the mountains). Turn left on Changepoint Drive (first left turn after the highway). Immediately take a right to enter the Changepoint parking lot. Continue until the Dome (large white structure) is visible.

Eagle River High School - 8701 Yosemite Drive, Eagle River. Take the Glenn Highway north out of Anchorage to the Highland Loop exit. After exiting, turn right on Highland Loop. Take the first left, Yosemite Drive. The school is just ahead on the right.

Kincaid Park - From Minnesota Drive take Raspberry Road (same exit as the Dome) to the west. Continue on Raspberry Road into Kincaid Park. The fields are located in the area surrounding the chalet. Allow approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the fields and park after exiting Minnesota.

Lore Road - This field is located on Lore Road between New Seward and Lake Otis. From the south, take the New Seward frontage road at Dimond Blvd, turn right on Lore Rd, field is on the right side of the road. From the north, take Lake Otis south from Dowling, turn right at Lore Road, field will be on left.

Park Strip - Center field is at M St. between 9th and 10th Avenues downtown.

Nunaka Valley - There are many ways to get to this field, but some are fairly confusing, here are directions to a large parking lot. Go East on Perry between Debarr and Northern Lights on Boniface. (Almost all the way to Debarr) Turn right at the first street, Twining. Turn left on Craig, follow to the parking lot at the end on the left. Alternatively, find Nunaka Valley school, and the field is beyond the baseball fields behind it. There are at least three parking lots that you can use, but give yourself extra time in case you get lost!

South Anchorage - Turn south on C St. from O'Malley Rd (Minnesota), follow C around until the stoplight, turn right at the stoplight, go all the way back towards the highway.
