How do I start playing? How do I find a team?
We only accept registration from teams, so in order to play you have to find a team first. To find a team, use the "Looking for a Team" feature of our website, which allows you to post your information/bio. Team managers visit this site when they need to add players. If you are most desperate, check out the schedule, and visit one of our venues during a game in which you are interested. Ask around!
How do I register?
Follow ALL OF THE STEPS listed on this page. If you do not follow ALL OF THE STEPS, it won't work!
My team manager says I am not registered...but I am!
The first step, is to check and see if he or she is correct! From the player registration access page, login. If you can do this, you have an account and your team manager should be able to "find" you. Tell your team manager exactly how your first and last name is spelled in your profile, as this is the most likely culprit. If you are still having problems, email us!
My team manager says I haven't paid...but I did!
The first step, is to check and see if he or she is correct! From the player registration
access page, login. Once you are logged-in, click submit, read the waiver again and agree, then on the third page it should say "Amount Due $0.00" If this is the case, but your manager says you still need to pay, you probably have two accounts. Email us with your name and we will get it fixed ASAP. If it still says you owe $30, please look first for your email receipt. The email receipt has a subject of "Soccer Fee Payment Confirmation..." If you find the receipt, simply forward it to accounts@socceralaska.com, and we will correct the problem within 24 hours. If you can't find it, email us your name and we will do some quick research.
I can't upload a picture...help!
From the player registration access page, login. If you see your smiling face when you login, you are good to go! If it says "no photo," you need to submit one. Make sure you receive a confirmation dialogue after uploading a new picture! It MUST be a jpg, but any size will work (we will resize it for you). If there's a bunch of words in red, it means we have your photo, but haven't accepted it yet. This should happen in 1-3 days. If you're really having trouble getting the upload to work, you can email your picture to accounts@socceralaska.com. Include your name! Lastly, with any picture, make sure your face is visible and recognizable!
How do I register for my team?
You don't! Rosters are created by team managers. If you have paid and uploaded a picture, that is all you have to do. Let your team manager know you have done these things, and it will also help them out if you tell them the exact name you used in the registration process.
What insurance is provided with my player registration?
As a member of USASA and AASA, all players receive supplementary insurance coverage which only takes affect after any primary insurance has paid. More information is available here.
